JP Morgan Private Bank Names New Head Of Investments For UK

JP Morgan Private Bank has appointed Tracy Maeter to the newly-created role of head of investments for private clients in the UK.

Based in London, Maeter will report dually to Peter Gabriele, head of investments for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at JP Morgan Private Bank, and Olivier de Givenchy, head of the private bank in the UK.

Maeter joins JP Morgan from RBC Wealth Management, where she served as head of investments, British Isles & Caribbean. Before that, Maeter was head of investors at HSBC Private Bank in London. Her new appointment actually sees her making a return to JP Morgan as in her earlier career she held a number of roles at the US firm's investment banking and private banking arms.

In her new role, Maeter will oversee the delivery of the firm’s investment capabilities to wealthy individuals and families in the UK.

In other recent hires at the firm, last month JP Morgan Private Bank appointed executive director Andrew Kennedy as a private banker for its UK team.
